Information still to be completed

Fields marked [TO CONFIRM] require final company, infrastructure or legal information before this Policy is published as binding legal text.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is:

[TO CONFIRM legal company name] [TO CONFIRM registered address] [TO CONFIRM registration number] [TO CONFIRM VAT number, if applicable] Privacy contact: [TO CONFIRM privacy contact email]

In this Privacy Policy, “Queliq”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the controller named above.

2. What data we collect

We may process the following categories of personal data.

Account data

This may include your name, email address, login details, subscription status and account settings.

CV and profile data

This may include information that you add to your Queliq profile, such as:

  • work experience, education, skills, languages and certifications;
  • target roles, preferred locations and work-mode or contract preferences;
  • salary expectations;
  • CV versions and exported CV files.

You control what information you add. You should not include sensitive personal data in your CV or profile unless it is necessary for your own job-search purpose.

Job-search and pipeline data

This may include saved or ignored vacancies, application status, notes, filters, Match Scores, profile-to-job comparisons and search activity inside the product.

Job-listing data

Queliq may process limited metadata from supported public sources, employer career pages and original publishers. This can include job title, company, location, work mode, publicly available salary information, listing URL, source reference, freshness signals and activity status.

Queliq does not claim ownership over job listings. Listings remain controlled by their original publishers. Where a listing contains recruiter details, Queliq processes them only as part of the listing context and does not build a recruiter contact database for bulk outreach.

Support and communication data

If you contact us, we may process your email address, message content and related support information.

Payment and billing data

If you purchase a paid plan, payment and billing data may be processed by our payment provider and by us to manage subscriptions, invoices, accounting and legal obligations.

Payment card details, if used, are handled by the payment provider. Queliq does not intend to store full payment card numbers on its own systems.

Technical and usage data

We may process IP address, device and browser information, operating system, session logs, pages visited, error logs, security logs and product usage events.

3. Why we process your data

To provide the service

We process account, profile, preference, match and pipeline data to operate Queliq, generate relevant job matches, create CV outputs and provide the workspace features you request.

To generate Match Scores and explanations

Queliq compares your structured profile with job-listing metadata to calculate advisory relevance scores and explain why a vacancy may or may not fit.

A Match Score is not a prediction of an interview, offer or hiring decision. It does not make a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.

To create CV outputs

We process profile data so that you can edit, preview and export ATS-friendly CV documents. “ATS-friendly” means straightforward formatting intended to improve readability and parsing. It does not guarantee that a CV will pass an employer’s screening system.

To manage subscriptions and payments

We process billing-related data to manage paid plans, payment status, invoices, tax records and refund handling.

To improve and secure the product

We may process technical and usage data to monitor performance, prevent abuse, debug errors, improve usability, protect accounts and maintain service security.

To communicate with you

We may use contact details for service messages, support responses, account or billing notifications and optional marketing communications where permitted.

4. Legal bases for processing

Depending on the context, we process personal data based on:

  • Contract: to provide Queliq or take steps before entering into a contract with you.
  • Legal obligations: including applicable accounting, tax and consumer-law requirements.
  • Legitimate interests: including product security, abuse prevention, service improvement and business administration.
  • Consent: where required for optional marketing or non-essential cookies.

Queliq does not require special categories of personal data for its normal operation. The applicable Article 9 condition and handling procedure for any voluntarily submitted sensitive data are [TO CONFIRM with legal counsel].

5. What Queliq does not do

Queliq does not:

  • automatically apply to jobs without your decision;
  • send bulk emails to recruiters;
  • sell your CV or structured profile data;
  • make your profile available to employers merely because a vacancy matched;
  • guarantee interviews, offers, hiring outcomes or ATS results;
  • act as a recruitment agency or employer;
  • claim ownership over vacancies published by third parties.

6. Sharing your data

We may share personal data with providers that help us operate Queliq, such as:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • analytics, email and support tools;
  • payment processors;
  • document generation tools;
  • AI or language-model providers, where used to provide product functionality;
  • legal, accounting or compliance advisers.

Providers may process data only as needed to provide services to us and under appropriate contractual safeguards. The final provider and subprocessor list is [TO CONFIRM].

We may also disclose data when required by law, a court or regulator, or when reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights, users or service.

7. International transfers

Queliq is intended to operate from Poland and may serve users in different countries. Some providers may process data outside your country or outside the European Economic Area.

Where required, we will use safeguards recognised by applicable data-protection law. Specific providers, processing locations and transfer mechanisms are [TO CONFIRM].

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

  • Account, profile and pipeline data are generally kept while your account is active.
  • CV and job-search data may be deleted or anonymised after account deletion, except where limited information must be retained for legal, tax, security or dispute-resolution reasons.
  • Billing records may be kept as required by accounting and tax law.
  • Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for security, debugging and service operation.

Specific retention periods are [TO CONFIRM].

9. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • request deletion or restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive eligible data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

If Queliq is operated by a Polish company, the competent supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). Information about complaints is available on the official UODO website.

To exercise your rights, contact [TO CONFIRM privacy contact email].

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Queliq may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, secure accounts, analyse usage and improve the product.

Essential cookies may be used where necessary for the service to function. Non-essential analytics or marketing cookies will be used only where legally permitted and, where required, after consent.

More information is provided in our Cookie Policy. Cookie and analytics providers are [TO CONFIRM].

11. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep login credentials confidential and notify us if they suspect unauthorised access.

12. Children

Queliq is intended for people looking for professional opportunities. The minimum age for using Queliq is [TO CONFIRM].

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the website, account interface or email.
